Privacy policy

Vision Factory LLC (“we”, “us”) operates jp-esim.net. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and who else receives it.

1. What we collect

  • Email address — to confirm your order and send you the link to My Page, where your eSIM is shown.
  • Name and billing address — required to calculate any tax due on your order and to complete the card payment.
  • Email verification — if you confirm your email address with Google at checkout, we receive the verified email address from Google LLC (United States) and keep a record that it was verified.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive a confirmation and a limited reference (such as the card brand and last four digits), together with the card and payment-screening details the processor supplies at the time of payment: the card’s issuing country, whether it is a credit, debit or prepaid card, the results of the processor’s card verification and 3-D Secure checks, the processor’s own fraud-screening result, and, where the processor supplies them, a pseudonymous card identifier that cannot be converted back into the card number and the first six digits of the card number (BIN). We use these only to prevent fraud and to handle chargeback disputes. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Technical data — IP address and basic request data, kept for fraud prevention and to evidence where a sale took place for tax purposes.
  • Correspondence — the content of inquiries you send us.

We do not collect your device’s EID or IMEI on this site. If you contact us because the eSIM won’t connect, we ask for your phone’s model and IMEI so that we can check the line.

2. Why we use it

To take and fulfil your order, deliver the eSIM, provide customer support, calculate and remit taxes, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with applicable law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Who else receives it

  • Stripe — to process card payments and calculate tax.
  • NEXT MANAGEMENT LLC (Republic of Korea) — operates our order, eSIM delivery and customer-support systems on our behalf.
  • Amazon Web Services Korea LLC (Republic of Korea) — sends our order, eSIM delivery and email verification emails; it handles your email address and the content of those emails.
  • Google — analytics data, and only if you accept analytics cookies (see section 6). If you decline, or if you are in a region where we ask first and you have not accepted, we do not load the analytics script and nothing is sent.
  • Google (Google LLC, United States) — only if you choose to confirm your email address with Google at checkout. We receive a verified email address from Google. We do not send your personal information to Google.
  • ROKKODE Inc. (Japan) — the telecommunications carrier that provides the line, to the extent needed to issue and operate it. When we order your eSIM we send the plan, not your name or email address.

We otherwise disclose personal information only where required by law.

4. International transfer

Your information is transferred to and processed in the Republic of Korea, where our order and support systems are operated, and the line is issued in Japan by the carrier. By placing an order you understand that this transfer is necessary to provide the product you purchased.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to support the order and to meet tax and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymize them. Inquiry correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards. The card and payment-screening details described in section 1 are deleted one year after the order.

6. Cookies and similar storage

Your browser’s local storage keeps the phone type you choose on the setup guide, a record of the order you are paying for, so that we can bring you back to the right page after payment, and your choice about analytics cookies. None of these is used for advertising.

We would also like to use analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand how the site is used. These are not necessary to browse or to buy, and we do not use them for advertising or share the data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are not set unless you accept them. We ask on your first visit, and we do not load the analytics script until you agree. If we cannot tell which region you are in, we ask in the same way. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are set without asking.
  • You can change your choice, or withdraw consent, at any time with the button below.
  • You can also block cookies in your browser.

If you choose to confirm your email address with Google at checkout, the checkout page loads a script provided by Google LLC (Google Identity Services). Your browser then sends Google your IP address and browser information. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.

The payment form is provided by Stripe, which may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe’s own privacy policy.

7. Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to tell you what we have disclosed and to whom. We honor these requests regardless of whether a particular state or national privacy law applies to us, subject to the records we must keep for tax and legal purposes. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.

To make a request, email inquiry@nx-mobile.net from the address you used for your order, so that we can verify who you are.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will post the updated version on this page.
